As a Website Administrator, please take these steps to create a site wide slide show. Please note that you can place this slideshow into an Announcement on the Announcements & Upcoming Events Page, create links to this slideshow from any Content Management Page, or any navigation link. Although the Slideshow available within FusionTools created in the same manner, the access to each set of slideshows is different.
Please follow to create a slideshow via Website Administration:
- Login to your SchoolFusion site
- Access “Website Administration”
- Under “Content Management”. Click on the “Mange Slideshows” link
- Click the red “Create New Slideshow” link
- Give your Slideshow a title
- Begin to upload images by clicking on the gray ‘browse” button.
- Browse for the image on your desktop.
- Click on the image title, and click “open.”
- Give the image a title, for example “Bake Sale.”
- Continue uploading the remaining images you would like included in your slideshow, if you would like to add more than 5, click the “Add another slide” link.
- The SchoolFusion slideshow will automatically “Color Enhance” all images. If you would like your images to not be enhanced, un-check the “Color Enhance” check box. The color enhancement tool recreates your images with more vibrant colors.
- When all images have been loaded, click the “Upload” Button.
- When the images have finished loading, you will receive a message stating “Your slideshow was created”.
- If you have loaded a large number of images, it may take several minuets for all images to load. Please be patient and wait for the process to finish.
There is no limit to the number of slideshows that you can have on Website Administration. .
