We use the term “user account” in a very general way. Everyone has a user account (faculty, staff, parents, and students). Levels of permission are based on who the user is. For example, a student will not have the same level of permission as a teacher. Each student has a “Personal Calendar” that automatically combines all of his or her homework, tests and events from all of their classes, teams and clubs that they are a member of. Every Parent has a “My Family” link that allows them to see all of their students from one page. They can sign up to receive nightly emails of all homework assignment for their students. Each teacher has both a “Personal Calendar” and an optional “Online Grades” link that allows him or her to post grade book information.
