Content can be transferred from one classroom to another using the following steps. This will be used most often at the end of a school year, when new classrooms have been created, and old classrooms have been archived.This method can be used for all FusionPage types.
Step A: Exporting FusionPage Content:
From the FusionPage, click on the “Edit Configuration” link . On the "Configuration" tab, in the Misc. section, click “Export”, you can choose to export all content, or specify which content you would like exported. Click the “Export this fusionpage content for use in another fusionpage” link. this will create a zip file that should be saved directly to the Faculty/ Staff Members desk top or hard drive.Content can be exported from any FusionPage, whether it is active or has been archived.
Step B: Importing FusionPage Content:
From the new FusionPage page, click on “Edit Configuration” link . On the "Configuration" tab, in the Misc. section, click “Import content from another fusionpage”, you will be directed to browse for the correct zip file, and then click on the “Import Class Content” button. Large files may take a long time to upload. Please do not close the page until the content has loaded.
Please note that not all FusionPage content is included in the Export/ Import Process. The information that is not included is :
- Calendar Events
- Quizzes & Quiz Banks
- Homepage Files (files that have been uploaded to the server, through Webpages/ Announcements or Description)
