How do I change an image on the Rotating Image System within the site header?
The Rotating Image System is added to your site(s) during the design process. If your custom design does not include the Rotating Image system, and you would like to add one to your site, please contact your Reoccurring Accounts Manager.
1. Go to Website Administration 2. Click on "Manage Images" under Content Management. 3. Click on the "slideshow" folder.
- If you do not see a slideshow folder you need to create one.
- To create a folder, choose create folder and name it slideshow. Make sure to use all lowercase letters to name the folder.
5. Next browse and upload the correct .jpg image(s) from your computer that have been resized to the correct dimensions. 6. Close the Resource Browser window. 7. The images are now loaded. These images will display in random order, they cannot be set to display in a specified order.
Note: We recommend adding no more that 5 or 6 images to your slideshow folder. The more images you add, the more time it will take to load your pages.
To delete an image from your rotating image system, please follow these steps: 1. Go to website administration 2. Click on Manage Images under Content Management. 3.Click on the "slideshow" folder. 4.Click delete next to the appropriate file name. 6. Close the Resource Browser window. 7. The image has now been removed from your Rotating Image System.
Note: If a Photoshop file was provided to your Website Administrator by your Account Manager when your site went live, use the attached document for the steps to create new images. If a Photoshop file was not provided, a set of dimensions will have been provided. Please size your images to these dimensions before uploading to ensure proper display.
